Head of Living & GL Member (80-100%)

Affordable living space and quality of life for 75 years! As Head of Department and member of the management board, you will represent one of the largest organizations in Switzerland in the field of affordable senior housing. With the support of the City of Zürich, the active role is to be strengthened in the development of new forms of living for the elderly. With the goal of increasing the offer to 3000 apartments within the next few years, organizational changes have also been decided. This includes a comprehensive modernization of the organization with partially new departments. Several digitalization projects or measures to increase efficiency are also planned or already underway. For the newly created Living department, we are looking for a communicative and experienced person as Head of Living & GL Member (80-100%) on behalf of the management. YOUR RESPONSIBILITY You will be responsible for the Living organization unit with around 60 employees, which consists of three departments. Together with your own assistant and the three department heads, you will give your department the necessary finesse and your personal touch over the coming years. A focus will be on commercial and technical management. With the Social Department, you will bring together cultural aspects, settlement life, and other social services with management in an optimal way. Throughout the company, exciting projects are planned in the area of digitalization or to increase the efficiency of the entire organization. With your expertise in real estate management, you will analyze, evaluate, or create new standards and processes. As a member of the management board, you will actively contribute to the strategic and organizational development of the entire organization. YOUR PROFILE For this challenging function, we are looking for a leadership personality with great passion and extensive experience in real estate management. Ideally, you are familiar with affordable housing, senior housing, or come from a building cooperative. You have a lot of experience in building, rebuilding, or setting up departments and are used to leading larger units. It would be an advantage if you have already supported digitalization projects, driven them forward, or defined concepts for implementation. You have a higher education in the field of real estate management, facility management, or a comparable direction.
