In order to complete the teams of Lanthmann Constructions Bois SA in Vuadens (FR), we are looking for a qualified WOOD ENGINEER immediately or by arrangement.

Your mission ####

• Develop and maintain relationships with architects, engineers, clients, and other partners in the construction sector
• Analyze projects in the upstream phase and support architects and clients in the search for relevant, economical, and feasible timber constructive solutions
• Elaborate variants and technical concepts allowing for the optimization of projects in terms of structure, prefabrication, cost, planning, and implementation
• Analyze calls for tender and public markets, coordinate their preparation, and participate in the elaboration of technical files and offers
• Contribute to the estimation and definition of services in collaboration with the Group's internal teams
• Depending on the projects, perform or supervise the dimensioning of timber structures and assemblies

Your key skills ####

• You hold a HES engineering degree in timber technology EPFL, civil engineering with experience in timber, or an equivalent training
• You can justify proven professional experience of more than 5 years in a similar position
• You master structural software such as Dlubal RFEM/RSTAB and Cadwork
• You are capable of quickly analyzing a project and proposing technically relevant and economically realistic solutions
• You enjoy contact with clients, architects, and partners and are comfortable presenting and defending a solution
• You communicate authentically and know how to establish a climate of trust with your interlocutors
