Our client is a traditional, modernly equipped timber construction company from the Canton Obwalden. The versatile mixed operation combines carpentry and joinery and employs an experienced team of around 60 employees. For this assignment, we are specifically looking for female and male candidates who already live in the Canton Obwalden or the surrounding area.

Job Description ##

To strengthen the team, we are looking for a trained female carpenter or a trained male carpenter EFZ or a female woodworker or a male woodworker EBA for a long-term temporary assignment.

You will work both in modern timber construction production and on various construction sites in the region. If your performance is correct and the cooperation suits you as well as the client company, there is the possibility of a permanent position with the client.

Your tasks include:

• Production work in modern timber construction
• Manufacture of prefabricated wood elements
• Cooperation in element and system construction
• Erecting wooden structures
• Assembly of timber system buildings
• Conventional carpentry and timber construction work
• Cooperation in demanding conversions and extensions
• Working according to plans and technical drawings
• Cutting, processing, and assembling timber components
• Operation of wood processing machines and hand tools
• Preparatory work in the workshop
• Assembly work on various construction sites
• Compliance with quality and safety specifications

• Completed vocational training as Carpenter EFZ or Woodworker EBA
• Recent graduates are also very welcome
