Under the supervision of the physiotherapist in charge for the Département de médecine aiguë, you will join a team composed of 19 physiotherapists. Attached to the DMA transversal unit, the physiotherapy team ensures care in various units of the department, with activity ranging from critical care to outpatient consultations for patient follow-up after hospitalization.

Your adaptability and versatility allow you to ensure, in collaboration with your colleagues, 24/7 activity coverage.

You perform clinical assessments, develop and apply adapted physiotherapy treatments, and then evaluate the results. You also ensure rigorous documentation of patient files, including interventions performed, clinical information, and the entry of services provided.

You operate within an interprofessional work approach, in close collaboration with all healthcare professionals, intervening complementarily with other professionals according to your field of activity.

You contribute to training programs related to your skills and activity, and you may also be called upon to contribute to clinical research programs.

You have a proven interest in sharing your knowledge and clinical practice with healthcare staff and physiotherapists in training. Your pedagogical sense allows you to support students in their training path and develop their skills at the heart of care, through the supervisions you offer.

More broadly, physiotherapy activity at HUG brings together approximately 180 professionals practicing in 6 sectors. You are joining a university hospital that notably has the vocation to train, and you can thus develop both your technical and transversal skills in various fields of care.

You hold a Bachelor HES in physiotherapy or a physiotherapy diploma recognized and registered by the Swiss Red Cross, as well as a right to practice in the canton of Geneva.

Ideally, you benefit from a certified specialization in the physiotherapy activity sector in critical care. You keep your knowledge up to date through regular scientific reading and follow an EBP approach.

Experience and knowledge in the field of cardio-respiratory physiotherapy constitute an important asset.

You also have a good knowledge of the French language, with level C1 being required for non-French speakers.

Ease with IT tools (Office Suite) is necessary to successfully carry out this mission. Proficiency in HUG applications, notably DPI, is a plus.

You are capable of working autonomously while demonstrating team spirit. This allows you to evolve flexibly within a team, relying on an excellent sense of communication and a desire to evolve in your practices.

You have a sense of responsibility, great organizational capacity, and a good aptitude for working in a multidisciplinary team. Your good resistance to stress is a real asset.

You work with irregular hours distributed over the 7 days of the week. Shifts on weekends and public holidays are to be expected within the HUG physiotherapy network.
