Technical Service Specialist – Gearless Mill Drive

You provide technical support and specialist services for an electrical drive system in the mining sector, remotely and on-site at the customer.

Tasks

• Provide technical support and problem solving via remote access or on-site
• Perform installation, commissioning, maintenance and repairs
• Undertake fault analyses and retrofit engineering
• Determine customer needs through professional advice
• Maintain regular contact with key customers, including 24/7 on-call duty approximately every two months
• Suggest and communicate product and quality improvements internally
• Offer technical advice on services to management and customers

Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field
• Experience as an electrical engineer, product specialist or in a similar technical function
• Experience in the field of power electronics is an advantage
• Strong communication and relationship skills
• Diligence in technical documentation and quality standards
• Business fluent English, other languages such as Spanish are an advantage
