Description of the position ## Automaticians take care of automated installations, industrial robots and electrical machines. They manufacture devices, machines, installations and electrical automation systems, production facilities, light signals, robots, propulsion and control devices. They often work with other specialists. They look for solutions, develop and program control systems, assemble and wire various electrical, electronic and pneumatic components. They check the functions of machines and installations. With application and talent, they look for errors and correct them. They also work in a team when it comes to developing, testing and optimizing prototypes. Depending on their field of activity, they also take care of elaborating technical documentation. Their work is extremely varied. They go to the customer's premises when it is necessary to put installations into service, maintain or repair them.
