Support Staff in Night Shift (with on-call service)

Das Hertihus on Bahnhofstrasse in Bülach is a socio-psychiatric residential home of the Heilsarmee. We offer adults with mental impairments or addiction diseases a safe, reliable home and professional support in everyday life. To complement our team, we are looking for an engaged and reliable personality for the night and on-call service, effective immediately or by arrangement.

Your tasks

• Presence and security: You ensure a calm, safe atmosphere during the night and are the first point of contact for our residents in unforeseen situations
• On-call service: You remain ready during the on-call period to react adequately to emergencies or urgent questions
• Support as needed: You provide low-threshold support and crisis intervention
• Administration & handover: You maintain the night protocol, document occurrences, and hand over relevant information to the day team

What you bring with you

• Education or experience: Ideally completed training in the social or nursing sector or professional experience as a lateral entrant in the support sector. Students are also welcome
• Attitude: Empathic, calm, and assertive personality when dealing with people in difficult life situations
• Competencies: High sense of responsibility, independence, confidentiality, and stable psychological resilience
• Flexibility: Readiness for irregular shifts (including weekends and public holidays) within the framework of the night and on-call schedule
