Counting over 1-300 collaborators, the Department of Psychiatry fulfills a triple mission related to the treatment of mental disorders, training, and research. The department offers high-quality psychiatric care, hospital, outpatient, and mobile care to adult patients residing in the Canton of Genève as part of a public health mission. The care offered includes biological, psychotherapeutic, and social diagnosis and treatment. The Psychiatric Liaison and Crisis Intervention Service and, more specifically, the UPL - Psychiatric Liaison Unit, is responsible for evaluating, guiding, and monitoring interdisciplinary treatment of psychiatric disorders in patients who are hospitalized or followed in outpatient consultations at the different HUG sites. The service also has the mandate to welcome, care for, and guide patients who come to the HUG emergencies, more specifically the UUPSY - Psychiatric Emergency Unit. The service includes two hospital units, the LIC - Crisis Intervention Beds and the LMP - Medico-Psychiatric Beds, and two specialized consultations, ESCAL - Space for Care of Eating Behavior Disorders and the TraumaCare Psychotraumatology Consultation, contributing to improved care through research and teaching. The service brings together the activities of around 200 collaborators, organized within the different units and outpatient consultations. The service includes outpatient, day hospital, and hospital activities. Job Description ## Psychologist position in training in psychotherapy within the Psychiatric Liaison and Crisis Intervention Service for a period of 15 to 20 months according to the activity rate as of November 1st, 2026. You are currently following a postgraduate training in psychotherapy according to the cognitive-behavioral model and you wish to acquire clinical experience in a specialized consultation for the multidisciplinary care of patients suffering from eating behavior disorders and in a specialized consultation in psychotraumatology, TraumaCare. You have to ensure individual and group follow-ups as well as in-depth clinical evaluations under the supervision of experienced professionals. Experience in diagnostic assessment and psychotherapeutic management of adult patients would be appreciated. You must comply with institutional directives for all matters related to the situations followed and the recording of your services. Qualifications ## You hold a Master's degree in psychology. You are in your first year of postgraduate training in psychotherapy or will start a training and be accepted in September 2026. You are able to handle stress with good teamworking skills. You are motivated, have good skills to work autonomously, have a good analytical and synthesis mind, a proactive attitude, and are able to adapt to various clinical situations. A good knowledge of the Geneva medical-social network would be an asset.
