Social Educator

The Zentrum Auf der Leiern in Gelterkinden BL is supported by the private Stiftung Leiern foundation and has a performance agreement with the Kanton BL. We offer care for around 45 children and young people in the boarding school and special school with integrated therapy services. For a student residential group, we are looking for a social educator immediately or by agreement 60-80% ## We expect: • relevant professional training (HF or FH) • ability to act pedagogically in a goal-oriented manner • experience and enjoyment in dealing with behaviorally disturbed children and young people • high communication skills in interdisciplinary collaboration • stable, assertive personality with optimistic attitude and humor • team skills, willingness to work across departments • flexibility and willingness to work shifts including night and weekend presence • security in administrative matters and good PC skills • driver's license We offer: • year-round working hours • autonomous area of responsibility • professionally and organizationally innovative environment • further training opportunities • pension fund: Stiftung Abendrot The goal-oriented interdisciplinary collaboration with school and therapy as well as contact with external offices is an important part of the work.
