Lines Engineer – high voltage cables

To strengthen its team in the field of electrical infrastructure, our client is looking for an engineer specialized in electrical lines starting from or to be agreed upon. You will participate mainly in the design of high voltage cable connections, from the performance of technical studies and calculations to project monitoring. Depending on your experience, you may also be required to work on overhead line projects.

Your responsibilities

• Design HV cable connections and define their routing
• Perform thermal simulations and electromechanical calculations
• Prepare tenders with the project manager
• Optimize technical solutions and their costs
• Collaborate with the various project specialists

Your profile

• HES/EPF engineering degree in mechanics, electricity, civil engineering or equivalent
• Experience in line engineering or high voltage cables
• Good knowledge of calculations and technical studies
• Fluent French and German; English is an asset
• Organized, autonomous and team-oriented work
