Pflegefachperson HF/FH The Universitätsklinik für Forensische Psychiatrie und Psychologie offers inpatient, day-inpatient, outpatient, and outreach services for patients with psychiatric illnesses who are undergoing treatment in deprivation of liberty or due to court-ordered measures. Patients are also treated on a civil legal basis if the clinical picture suggests treatment in forensic psychiatry due to the expertise available there. You can expect an exciting and versatile field of work in acute psychiatry, collaboration in a dedicated nursing and treatment team, as well as a wide range of internal and external continuing education opportunities. Your tasks You will take on the holistic care and support of patients with psychiatric clinical pictures in penal enforcement You promote and support learners and students from various training areas You contribute actively to the improvement of nursing quality and to the further development of the nursing profession You work closely together in an interprofessional team You implement milieu therapeutic approaches for the patients' daily organization Your profile You have several years of experience in the forensic-psychiatric field and/or in acute psychiatry You possess high resilience and social competence You have experience in key worker work and in the implementation of the nursing process You have interest and experience in aggression management and in de-escalation You are interested in working with patient groups in a milieu therapeutic setting You are motivated for a partnership-based, interdisciplinary collaboration You master the German language and can ideally communicate in ösisch or English in a business context The UPZ The Universitäre Psychiatrische Zentrum Bern (UPZ) is, as a university clinic, the leading competence center for psychiatry and psychotherapy in the capital region.
