Senior Process Engineer Giessereitechnik

You optimize casting processes and support the commissioning of new systems at international customer sites as well as in the testing laboratory.

Tasks

• Support the production start of new systems at the customer site, from commissioning to troubleshooting
• Optimization of production output as well as ensuring the function and availability of the systems
• Definition and further development of process parameters to increase stability, efficiency and quality
• Monitoring and analysis of quality data as well as initiation of corrective measures in case of rejects
• Cooperation with the development department on application technology projects and operation of testing installations
• International travel activity of up to 60 percent

Profile

• Completed training as an Anlagen- und Apparatebauer, Automatiker, Polymechaniker, Elektriker, Landmaschinenmechaniker, Automobilmechatroniker or comparable
• Experience in commissioning, process optimization or application technology
• Knowledge in metallurgy, fluid mechanics and thermodynamics is an advantage
• Knowledge in electrics/electronics as well as hydraulic components desirable
• Good German and English skills
• Readiness for international travel of up to 60 percent
