Your daily routine

In this key position, you are responsible for our internal IT infrastructure, information security, and IT services. You lead the internal IT team and ensure a secure, modern, and high-performance working environment. In doing so, you combine leadership responsibility with technical proximity to day-to-day operations. You set priorities, further develop structures, and also contribute operationally yourself. Your versatile tasks:

• Functional and personnel leadership of the internal IT team
• Development and implementation of the IT strategy, roadmap, standards, and governance
• Responsibility for secure and stable IT operations, including information security, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity
• Further development of our cloud, workplace, and identity architecture
• Optimization and automation of IT service, support, and operational processes
• Processing, coordination, and escalation of incidents regarding the technical campus infrastructure
• Management of IT projects, technological renewals, and new platforms
• Responsibility for budget, licenses, contracts, and external service providers
• Close cooperation with software development, Opacc Cloud Center, management, and specialist departments
• Active participation in operational day-to-day business and in demanding technical issues
• Optional: Taking on responsibility as a vocational trainer for IT specialists EFZ, specialization in platform development

Your background

You have several years of experience in IT infrastructure, IT operations, or IT management and already have technical and personnel leadership experience.

Ideally, you bring the following knowledge and experience:

• Sound experience with modern cloud, workplace, and identity environments
• Good knowledge of information security, networks, and infrastructure
• Experience with endpoint management, client lifecycle, as well as IT service and support processes
• Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity
• Experience in managing external service providers as well as in budget, license, and contract management
• Good understanding of modern software development and DevOps environments
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Entra ID, virtualization, Linux, containers, and Infrastructure as Code is an advantage
