Group Manager – Industrial Production (M/F/D) 100%

Persag SA is looking for, for one of its renowned industrial partners located in the Biel region, a Group Manager to strengthen a production team.

Your mission

In this role, you are responsible for the operational management of your sector and ensure the coordination of a large production team.

Your main responsibilities will notably include:

• Supervising, uniting, and developing a team of more than 35 employees ;
• Organizing and managing the production activities within your scope ;
• Sizing resources according to needs and objectives ;
• Monitoring performance indicators and implementing necessary actions ;
• Guaranteeing the achievement of objectives regarding quality, deadlines, costs, productivity, and safety ;
• Developing and monitoring the operating budget of your group ;
• Ensuring compliance with safety rules and company standards ;
• Collaborating closely with the various departments and internal partners ;
• Identifying optimization possibilities and promoting a culture of continuous improvement ;
• Participating in the definition and implementation of the orientations of your sector ;
• Supporting employees in their development and fostering a positive and high-performing work environment.

Your profile

We are looking for a person with higher technical training, for example:

• HES Engineer,
• ES Technician in business processes,
• or training deemed equivalent.

You also correspond to the profile if you are:

• Comfortable in managing multidisciplinary teams ;
• Capable of uniting and motivating employees with different profiles and backgrounds ;
• Possessing natural leadership and a good sense of responsibility ;
• Autonomous in decision-making and proactive in making proposals ;
• Comfortable with performance indicators and monitoring objectives ;
• Sensitive to continuous improvement processes ;
• Communicative, listening, and capable of creating a climate of trust ;
• Structured, organized, and solution-oriented ;
• Comfortable in collaborating with different interlocutors.

Confirmed experience in a production environment is expected for this position.
