The Department of Medicine (D-MED) is composed of 14 medical-care entities (12 medical services, 1 Short-term Investigation and Treatment Unit (UITB) and the Blood Transfusion Center (CTS)) with notably the particularity of having technical platforms in its organization (including interventional cardiology and digestive and pulmonary endoscopy), several treatment and care platforms (biological treatments, photopheresis and medical care), 1 center for hospital and outpatient dialysis. 3 rehabilitation and habilitation programs.

Job Description ##

You manage the stocks and thresholds of material ordered externally and internally for the service.

You carry out the purchase of material within the respect of the allocated budgets.

You manage the maintenance and upkeep of the material with partners.

You also manage the maintenance and works in the various premises of the service and coordinate the organization of the latter.

You propose and apply management rules for the stocks placed under your responsibility.

You evaluate the needs of the units in connection with the needs of the care teams and propose appropriate supply measures in order to control costs.

You ensure liaison with the various technical and logistical partners (central warehouse, purchasing center, technical service, sterilization, linen service, publishing center).

You participate in the training of nursing staff for the introduction of new consumables or equipment.

Qualifications ##

You hold a diploma as an assistant in care and support or benefit from training in the logistics field.

You have a good knowledge of the Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève and also have good knowledge of institutional IT tools.

You have a very good command of French, both spoken and written.

You are a person who is simultaneously organized, rigorous, dynamic and autonomous to work effectively in a collaborative manner.

You also possess the tools allowing you to face unforeseen events and thus easily manage stress situations proactively. You demonstrate good capacities for adaptation, teamwork and physical resilience.

You are ready to follow the CAS Supply Chain Industrielle.
