We are looking for an independent and committed Head of Business Applications 100% (m/f/d) # In this key position, you will take responsibility for the business application landscape of Ferag AG and lead a team of 4-5 employees as well as external support and implementation partners. You will act as the central interface between business and IT and translate functional requirements into efficient, future-oriented IT solutions. Focus: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management as well as the structured management and further development of the existing legacy system landscape. What you will achieve with us Leadership, Governance & Partner Management • Personnel and functional leadership of the Business Applications team • Management and coordination of external support, operations, and implementation partners • Planning of resources, tasks, and project priorities • Further development of standards, processes, and governance structures D365 F&SCM • Functional responsibility for Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM - from requirements analysis to productive use • Translation of business requirements into IT processes, concepts, and solution designs • Ensuring smooth operation, stability, and continuous further development • Coordination of rollouts, upgrades, and expansions in an international environment Legacy System Landscape • Responsibility for operation, maintenance, and orderly further development or migration of legacy systems • Ensuring data integrity and system stability during the transition phase • Management and further development of interfaces between legacy systems and D365 Business Process Management & Change Management • Analysis, documentation, and optimization of business processes (Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, Service) • Support of specialist departments in process definition and standardization • Training, user enablement, and ongoing user support • Planning and implementation of change management measures during the introduction of new IT solutions • Leading and coordinating cross-functional projects in a national and international environment What you bring with you • Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, business administration with an IT focus, or comparable qualification • Several years of experience in leading IT, application, or project teams • Experience in managing external service providers and implementation partners • Sound experience in the implementation, operation, and further development of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM • Experience with D365 CRM (not a must, but a clear plus) • Strong understanding of business processes in Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, and Service • Experience in dealing with legacy system landscapes and in managing migration projects • Proven experience in change management and in supporting organizational transformation projects • Strong communication personality at management, specialist department, and user levels • Structured, solution-oriented way of working, very good German and English skills What we offer • Central leadership role with high visibility at the interface of Business/IT • Great freedom to shape the further development of business applications and processes • Thorough introduction, accompanied onboarding, and structured knowledge transfer • Demanding, varied activity in an internationally oriented industrial environment • Close cooperation with specialist departments, IT, management, and external partners • Above-average employment conditions and advanced infrastructure For further information, Markus Stingl, Human Resources Manager, is at your disposal.
