Plant operator for a mobile concrete mixing plant

Tasks:

• Independent operation and monitoring of the mobile concrete plant on large construction sites in the Bern area
• Ensuring efficient, on-time, and quality-compliant concrete production
• Receiving, recording, and processing production orders
• Carrying out fresh concrete tests in cooperation with the concrete laboratory
• Managing and controlling raw materials and recipe components (gravel, cement, additives, etc.)
• Recognizing malfunctions and initiating immediate measures
• Co-responsible for maintenance, upkeep, cleaning, and overhaul of the concrete plant
• Close cooperation with the construction site managers
• Maintaining operationally relevant documentation
• Compliance with regulations in the areas of occupational safety, health protection, and environmental protection

Requirements:

• Completed technical or manual basic training EFZ, preferably in the construction or construction-related industry
• Experience in the operation of concrete mixing plants
• Very good German language skills in speaking and writing
• Good user knowledge of MS Office products
• Driver's license category B and own vehicle
• Independent, responsible, and reliable way of working
• Ability to work in a team, willingness to cooperate, and good manners
• Assertiveness and a confident appearance
• High physical and psychological resilience
• Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing construction site requirements
• Strong quality and safety awareness
• Willingness for occasional assignments outside of regular working hours
