Apprenticeship as IT Specialist Platform Development What to expect from us During your apprenticeship, you will be accompanied by experienced trainers. In the first year of apprenticeship, you will complete an external basic apprenticeship year. This enables you to have a quick start on productive projects. From the second year of apprenticeship onwards, you will work at the headquarters of the VZ Gruppe in the center of Zürich. One to two days per week, you will attend vocational school. On the remaining days, you will work together with experienced System Engineers and learn everything you need for daily work. Together with your team, you will ensure that the IT infrastructure functions smoothly and is secure. This means you provide the required network, server, database, and storage systems in a modern infrastructure. You will gain insight into an exciting, technical environment. You will immediately apply your theoretical knowledge to practice. This way, you prepare yourself optimally for your graduation.
