Data Engineer (f/m/d) Be your best with bechtle On behalf of our client based in Mont\-sur\-Lausanne, we are looking for a Data Engineer (f/m/d) responsible for designing, industrializing, and maintaining data flows as well as the production deployment of statistical models within applications. Your mission Collect the needs of the business teams and define the technical specifications relating to the collection, storage, and availability of data. Develop, test, and maintain data routing and storage solutions, notably by means of APIs, automated processing, and batch flows. Industrialize the cleaning, transformation, and integration of data, then administer and document internal and external databases. Deploy statistical and machine learning models into production, ensure the monitoring of their validity, their performance, and their maintenance. Follow development projects according to agile methods, ensure production support, and report progress to the project manager. Your profile Master's in computer science, information systems, or equivalent training, supplemented by proven experience in data engineering and processing. Proficiency in , notably the Pandas library, as well as SQL and NoSQL databases. Experience with Data Warehouse architectures, Business Intelligence models, reporting, and ETL or ELT tools. Proficiency in an orchestration or flow management tool such as Airflow or Kafka, as well as Unix and Windows environments. Good knowledge of agile development methods, the data lifecycle, personal data regulations, and cybersecurity principles.
