Specialist Facility Management & Operational Safety (80–100%)

The Research Institute of Organic Agriculture FiBL is one of the world's leading research institutions in the field of organic agriculture and employs around 300 employees at its Switzerland location. FiBL's strengths are interdisciplinary research, joint innovations with farmers and the food industry, as well as rapid knowledge transfer. The competence of FiBL Switzerland is in demand beyond national borders. Therefore, it is internationally involved in numerous projects – in research, consulting and further education as well as in development cooperation.

In the Finance & Infrastructure department, we are looking for a qualified Specialist Facility Management & Operational Safety (80–100%) starting immediately or by arrangement.

What we expect:

• Technical support for various infrastructure components such as heat generation, electrical systems, ventilation systems, fire alarm systems, refrigeration systems, etc.
• Independent execution of repair and maintenance work, including documentation
• Organization, coordination and inspection of external maintenance and repair work, obtaining offers and checking work reports
• Support of the SiBe
• Person transport to and from the SBB Frick station

What you bring:

• Completed vocational training in a manual trade (specialization in building technology), preferably the electrical industry
• Driver's license Cat. D1
• Further training as a maintenance specialist or several years of experience in these areas is desired
• High affinity for building technology and digital systems
• Proficient MS-Office skills
• Languages: German (native language), English knowledge is an advantage
• Independent, reliable and flexible personality with enjoyment of agricultural topics
