Head of Payroll & HR Services

For an established and successful organization in the Bern area, we are looking for an experienced personality as Head of Payroll & HR Services for our client. In this key role, you will take responsibility for the professional payroll processing of a large employee population and lead a well-established team.

Your tasks

• Functional and personnel leadership of a payroll team
• Ensuring timely and correct payroll processing for several hundred to over a thousand employees
• Participation in operational day-to-day payroll business
• Responsibility for year-end closing tasks as well as social security and withholding tax processes
• Further development and optimization of payroll and HR service processes
• Close cooperation with internal stakeholders and various business areas
• Support in digitalization and transformation projects in the HR environment

Your profile

• Commercial basic training with further training in the field of payroll, social insurance, or human resources
• Several years of experience in operational payroll processing for a larger number of employees
• Initial or sound leadership experience is an advantage
• High affinity for numbers as well as a structured and reliable way of working
• Experience with modern payroll and HR systems
• Proficient German language skills
