School Social Worker (80 %)

For the municipality of Buochs, we are looking for a school social worker (80 %) as of 1. November 2026 or by agreement. Your tasks • Advising students of kindergarten, primary and secondary level on personal and social problems • Supporting teachers in their educational mission as well as jointly addressing problematic situations of individuals or groups • Advising parents on educational issues and psychosocial problems of their child, initiating appropriate support measures and contacting other specialist agencies • Interdisciplinary collaboration with school remedial education, school social pedagogy, learning location and external specialist agencies • Participation in the area of prevention, early detection and crisis intervention • Participation in the further development of the concept for dealing with challenging behavior and the learning location Your competencies • Completed training in social work/social pedagogy (FH/HFS), professional experience in counseling children, adolescents and families, experience in school social work is desirable • You are familiar with dealing with the various stakeholder groups in the school environment • Good self-management, creativity, resilience and humor Our offer • Varied and interesting activity with annual working hours (compensation of school holiday time through increased workload) • You will be technically supervised by the social office of the canton and participate in specialist exchange with school social workers from other municipalities • In our team, you can expect a high degree of self-responsibility and design freedom.
