Your tasks
We are looking for a personality with a post-medial artistic practice and teaching experience in the field of artistic methods and discourses. You work with media and disciplines like tools that adapt to the respective topics and questions. Your artistic work moves between analog and digital spaces and formats. It picks up societal questions and generates visible resonance in the art field. You are familiar with current positions, discourses, and theories of art as well as curating. Experience in the conception, design, and realization of exhibitions is desired.
As a Lecturer
Development and implementation of teaching formats for the transmission of conceptual as well as methodical strategies of post-medial art, in the tension field of analog and digital spaces (incl. Co-Teaching).
Didactically sound accompaniment of individual work processes, incl. artistic experiments, research, and presentation.
Support of students in the development of an artistic position and visual language.
Promotion of the capacity for reflection and artistic thinking through the linking of artistic development processes with the transmission of discursive and theoretical knowledge.
Promotion of a professionally informed, responsible handling of traditional as well as contemporary technologies and media, incl. generative AI.
Supervision and mentoring of students in the portfolio process.
As Module Responsible
Overall responsibility for the content-related, organizational, and personnel planning, implementation, and further development of the responsible module according to specifications.
Lateral leadership of the lecturers and teaching assistants active in the module; in particular, ensuring communication, promoting cooperation, and coordinating work assignments. Recruitment of teaching assistants in consultation with the Vorkurs management.
Planning and distribution of resources and materials within the module.

You have a completed university degree (Master or Diploma) in fine arts or a related field.
You have a profiled post-medial art practice. You work with different artistic methods and forms of representation, based on current societal and artistic questions.
You have teaching experience at a university or a Gestalterischer Vorkurs. A certificate in university didactics can be acquired as part of the employment.
You know the art scene, are visible in it, and are excellently networked.
