Nursing Specialist HF/FH - Nursing Expertise (80-100%)

In this versatile role, you will advise and support our residents, caregivers, and relatives in complex specialist questions. You will take on responsibility in demanding care situations and thus make an important contribution to ensuring professional care and a high quality of care.

Furthermore, you will support nursing in the implementation and further development of nursing concepts and promote a professional nursing culture. With your expertise, your structured way of working, and your pronounced awareness of quality, you will actively contribute to the further development of nursing as well as to quality assurance.

Tasks

• Professional support of nursing in complex care situations
• Professional and nursing responsibility for the assigned residents
• Taking over care and responsibility in complex care situations
• Advising residents, relatives, and employees on specialist questions
• Conducting and ensuring ethical and nursing case discussions
• Support in the updating and training of nursing concepts and their implementation
• Contributing inputs on nursing models and current specialist literature
• Training and instruction of caregivers on nursing topics and nursing processes
• Support in the development of professional nursing and nursing culture
• Support in the areas of wound management, Palliative Care, gerontology, dementia, primary nursing, and other specialist areas
• Analysis of MQI data and initiation of measures in consultation with the Leitung Pflegeexpertise
• Ensuring the nursing process and documentation in RAI and EPDDoc
• Active collaboration in the area of nursing expertise as well as implementation of goals, projects, and specifications of the Leitung Pflegeexpertise

Requirements

• Completed training as a Nursing Specialist HF or FH
• Several years of professional experience (at least 2-5 years) in the care of elderly people, preferably in inpatient long-term care
• Professional competence and experience in dealing with complex care situations
• Pronounced communication and expression skills in German
• Independent, reliable, and structured way of working with pronounced solution orientation and networked thinking
• Sense of responsibility as well as a high level of commitment
• Enjoyment of working with various stakeholder groups and interdisciplinary cooperation
• Good methodological-didactic skills as well as enjoyment of training and knowledge transfer
• Good IT skills and confident handling of common MS-Office applications as well as specialist software programs
• Confidentiality and confident handling of data requiring protection
• Appreciative and respectful treatment of residents as well as employees

Additional training in gerontology, Palliative Care, dementia, wound management, adult education, ethics, or a comparable specialist area is an advantage. Ideally, you have a qualification in the area of RAI Coordinator/Supervisor. A completed or ongoing further education in the area of Advanced Practice Nursing (APN) is an advantage.
