For our Autism Specialist Center in Aarau of the Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Psychosomatics and Psychotherapy, we are looking for you as of 1 June 2026 or by arrangement as Specialist Psychologist or Assistant Psychologist Autism Specialist Center 80-100% In the Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Psychosomatics and Psychotherapy (Clinic Director Dr. med. Bernardon), children and adolescents up to the age of 18 are treated. The clinic's integrated treatment offering includes an outpatient sector with a central outpatient clinic as well as four outpatient clinics distributed across the canton, a consultation and liaison service, and an inpatient sector with an acute ward, two psychotherapy wards, a day clinic, and a clinic school. Clinical professionals from the fields of medicine, psychology, nursing, and social pedagogy work in the teams, and teachers and special education teachers work in the clinic school. Profile You possess a university degree in psychology at the Master's level You have several years of clinical experience in the field of child and adolescent psychology and completed or advanced psychotherapeutic training Ideally, you have experience working with autistic children and adolescents and are familiar with autism-specific diagnostic instruments You are characterized by high social competence, initiative, good communication skills, flexibility, and resilience You enjoy working with interest in an interdisciplinary team of an outpatient facility You have the ability to maintain an overview even in dynamic situations You are proficient in using common Office applications Tasks You will take over sub-areas of diagnostics for children and adolescents with suspected autism spectrum disorders (ASD) in cooperation with a pedagogical staff member You will accompany, advise, and undertake the psychotherapeutic treatment of children and adolescents with ASD, involving family members You will perform networking work with other specialist centers (School Psychological Service, pediatricians, child and adolescent psychiatrists, therapists) and undertake the consultation of the helper system (e.g., teachers, schools, institutions) for diagnosed children and adolescents You will create treatment documentation, write specialist reports, and handle necessary administrative tasks You will take over case management in an interdisciplinary collaboration You will participate in weekly team meetings and specialist supervisions Benefits Our employees are the heart of our company.
