The Inselhof is a competence center for children, mothers, and stressed families with complementary (semi-)residential and outpatient services for different needs.

The Mother & Child Units are an inpatient service with eight studios for mothers with their infants and toddlers up to three years old. Placement occurs due to various psychological stressors and unstable life situations. The focus is always on ensuring the welfare of the child. The units offer intensive socio-pedagogical assessment, accompaniment, and care. Care is covered 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

What you bring with you: ###

• Completed training at a university of applied sciences in the social field with solid experience in social or socio-pedagogical work
• Experience in crisis intervention and child protection
• Leadership training and several years of leadership experience in challenging change situations
• Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to maintain calm and clarity even in tense moments
• Structured way of working and the ability to set priorities
• Experience in trauma-pedagogical work or willingness to acquire these techniques and attitudes
• Interest and experience in working with complex, stressed family systems
• Composure in dealing with demanding situations and crises as well as motivation to develop yourself professionally and personally
• Enjoyment of interprofessional cooperation

Your tasks: ###

• Leading and developing a core team of 6-7 employees and a night and weekend team of 4 employees
• Establishing clear structures, roles, processes, and workflows to create security and orientation.
• Shaping a solution-oriented attitude and culture
• Promoting an open feedback culture and constructive communication
• Ensuring professional goal achievement while simultaneously strengthening team cohesion
• Designing effective workflows (incl. work and vacation planning)
• Implementation and anchoring of revised processes (professional process design, case management etc.) including controlling
• Leading team meetings, case discussions, and organizing supervision/intervision
• Responsibility for annual goals, implementation of the mandate, and compliance with the budget
• In cooperation with the division management: Implementation of the organizational structure and further development of the services
• Joint responsibility for the continuous utilization of the service including taking over the intake
• Support and coaching of the team in managing emergency and crisis situations regarding women with psychological burdens
• Coordinated cooperation within the team and with external systems (e.g., mother advisory services, pediatricians, legal guardians, KESB)
• Superior case management in cooperation with the case-leading socio-pedagogues and the division management
