Junior Metrology Technician 80% - 100%

Main tasks:

• Execution of series testing on medical technology products using common measuring tools and measuring systems
• Measurement and assessment of first articles as well as release of production series
• Creation and maintenance of test reports according to ISO 13485 as well as ensuring traceability
• Execution of quality controls according to internal and regulatory specifications
• Support in the analysis of deviations and initiation of corrective measures
• Execution of simple calibrations as well as care and maintenance of measuring tools
• Collaboration in the continuous improvement of measuring and testing processes
• Collaboration in production (e.g., washing, packaging of components) in compliance with quality and hygiene specifications

Requirements:

• Completed technical vocational training (EFZ), e.g., as a polymechanic, production mechanic or comparable
• Basic knowledge in reading technical drawings as well as understanding of geometric tolerances
• Initial experience in metrology or quality assurance is an advantage
• Very precise, structured and reliable way of working
• High quality awareness as well as sense of responsibility in a regulated environment
• Fluent in German, both spoken and written, English skills are an advantage
• Willingness to familiarize yourself with new measuring systems and technologies
