Business Excellence Manager*in SCM

These exciting tasks await you:

• Initiate, lead, and control strategic and operative SCM projects from problem definition to sustainable implementation.
• Analyze end-to-end processes in planning, procurement, production, warehouse, logistics, and scheduling, and identify potential for improvement.
• Apply Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and project management methods and establish them in SCM.
• Together with the relevant specialist departments, develop project mandates, target images, business cases, roadmaps, key figures, and decision-making bases.
• Manage the SCM project portfolio, prioritize projects, and make risks, dependencies, and target deviations transparent.
• Moderate value stream analyses, workshops, and problem-solving formats and ensure the sustainable implementation of measures.
• Develop and monitor SCM KPIs, such as delivery reliability, lead time, inventory coverage, service level, process quality, and productivity.
• Ensure high data quality as well as reliable analyses for decisions, project control, and benefit realization.
• Support the implementation of the Hoshin Kanri process to achieve company and SCM goals.
• Collaborate in group-wide transformation, operational excellence, and sustainability projects, including data collection, documentation, as well as audit and certification support.

The right personality for us:

• Completed studies or a comparable technical or business administration training with a focus on Supply Chain Management, Operations, or process management.
• Further training and several years of practical experience in Lean Management and Six Sigma; a Black Belt qualification or equivalent in-depth methodological competence is an advantage.
• Experience in leading complex, cross-functional SCM or operations projects.
• Sound knowledge of SCM processes, key figure systems, process analysis, as well as data analysis and visualization.
• A good understanding of sustainability principles and requirements; experience with data requirements, audits, or certification processes is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communicative, and moderating skills.
• Assertiveness, high personal responsibility, and a strong orientation towards implementation.
• Very good German and English skills in speaking and writing as well as very good MS Office skills.
