A Chief Physician with FMH title or Assistant Chief Physician in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

Your work consists of evaluating and caring for children, adolescents aged 0-18 years and their families in an outpatient setting within the CAP. The CAP also works in close collaboration with the UHPA (Psychiatric Hospitalization Unit for Adolescents) and with the emergency department of the hospital in Moutier, being able to respond to urgent outpatient consultation requests. To this end, the missions are as follows: Perform child and adolescent psychiatric evaluations and care of patients autonomously Supervision and guidance of the assistant physician and the assistant psychologist, both in training Demonstrate capacity for support, management of complex cases in the field, and decision-making and responsibilities incumbent upon a 2nd line senior physician Deputizing for the Physician responsible for the site, Referring Chief Physician of the CAP regarding tasks incumbent to the organization of the site and the smooth running of care (child and adolescent psychiatric evaluations, family and network interviews) Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the medico-therapeutic team. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans if necessary Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications Participate in the outpatient continuity of care system. Intervene in case of crisis and provide emergency child and adolescent psychiatric care, if necessary. Participate in medico-therapeutic team meetings to discuss patient care. Maintain accurate and detailed electronic medical records. Participate in the development and implementation of child and adolescent psychiatric protocols and procedures for the outpatient and inpatient sectors Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for patients. A medical degree or an equivalent title recognized by the Federal Commission for Medical Professions (MEBEKO) is mandatory. Experience of at least 3 years of assistantship, including at least 2 years in child and adolescent psychiatry and psychotherapy, in addition to complementary year(s) in adult psychiatry or pediatrics is required A proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team is essential. A strong commitment to medical training and the dissemination of knowledge is required. Capacity for initiative, curiosity, and interest in project implementation. In this full-time role, you will work in collaboration with a medico-therapeutic team (child and adolescent psychiatrists, psychologists, nurse(s)) to provide high-quality child and adolescent psychiatric care to our patients. The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Service of the Mental Health Pole of the Réseau de l'ARC is an ISFM training establishment (in the process of recognition for category B) for inpatient and outpatient activity.
