Your responsibility:

• Training members of civil protection and course participants in civil protection according to the most modern methodological and didactic principles.
• Deployment as a course instructor and class teacher in cantonal courses.
• Developing and writing documents for courses in the assigned specialist areas.
• Creating qualifications for course participants.
• Collaboration in projects within the framework of civil protection.
• Collaboration in the Cantonal Leadership Staff

Your background:

• Completed vocational training in a commercial and/or technical direction.
• Leadership training in the field of civil protection, army, or border security and customs.
• Experience in adult education (SVEB an advantage).
• Very good communication skills in spoken and written form.
• Willingness to complete the training Civil Protection Instructor with federal diploma (approx. 36 weeks distributed over two years) in Schwarzenburg BE.

Amt für Militär und Bevölkerungsschutz (AMB)

The Amt für Militär und Bevölkerungsschutz (AMB) is an operational, training, and administrative organization. The AMB is a department with around 50 employees within the Security Directorate of the Canton of Basel-Landschaft.
The AMB is responsible for the operations of the Civil Protection operational association, the training in civil protection as well as for personnel and leadership in civil protection. Administrative activities include, among others, army tasks on behalf of the Confederation or the operation of the Liestal barracks. Furthermore, operational and precautionary planning is created at the AMB, as well as logistics and administrative services are provided.
