Civil Engineering Project Manager

What you can make move. • As a project manager, you manage a portfolio of multidisciplinary projects and lead engineering works from the preliminary design stage to commissioning. • You assume the overall direction of the projects and ensure compliance with costs, deadlines, quality, and safety. • You coordinate internal specialists as well as external consultants and various stakeholders, and you ensure an efficient interface with railway operations. • You control and validate designs, dimension load-bearing structures and, if necessary, conduct internal expert assessments. • Depending on the file, you take general responsibility for the execution of works and represent the projects in bodies or with external organizations. What you bring. • Thanks to your proactive and committed way of working, you lead interdisciplinary teams and convince diverse stakeholders. • In demanding project situations, you solve problems in a structured manner and communicate clearly and appropriately to interlocutors. • You bring several years of professional experience, for example in an engineering office, in construction management or in project steering; initial experience in railway project management is an advantage. • You possess solid technical knowledge in the calculation, design, and execution of load-bearing structures, for example with experience in reinforced concrete and metal construction. • You are a graduate in civil engineering (ETH, HES/HEI or equivalent qualification) and use French at level C1 and German at level B2 in a professional context.
