Our Digital Solutions team provides the digital solutions and IT services that support Innosuisse's business processes and enable the fully digital processing of requests and associated procedures. This includes internal solutions as well as digital platforms and tools used by candidates, innovation mentors, accredited coaches, experts, project partners, and other external stakeholders to submit, process, evaluate, and manage support and funding requests. In order to strengthen our team, we are looking for a As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you guarantee the safe, stable, and standardized operation as well as the continuous development of our Azure platform. Working closely with architecture, security, operations, and our external partners, you contribute decisively to the reliable and scalable provision of our digital services. Your tasks You continuously operate and develop our Azure platform – including Azure Landing Zone, subscriptions, networks, Private Endpoints, DNS, Key Vaults, and central platform services. You technically implement governance and security requirements, particularly in the areas of Microsoft Entra ID, IAM, RBAC, PIM, Conditional Access, Defender for Cloud, Azure Policy, encryption, and Zero Trust. You are responsible for monitoring, logging, and alerting and you maintain operational documentation as well as operational standards. You provide support during incidents, changes, migrations, and malfunctions in the Azure environment and ensure root cause analysis, technical remediation, and sustainable improvements. You develop automations and Infrastructure as Code using tools such as ARM, Bicep, Terraform, PowerShell, Azure CLI, and CI/CD pipelines. You collaborate closely with architecture, security, operations, application teams, and external partners and provide support on themes of resilience, backup, restoration, compliance, and cost optimization. Your profile You hold a degree in computer science, management information systems, or an equivalent training (Bachelor or Master) and have several years of practical experience in the operation and securing of cloud platforms on Microsoft Azure. Continuing education or certifications in Azure Administration, Azure Security, or Cloud Operations (e.g., Azure Administrator or Azure Security Engineer) are an asset. You possess a solid understanding of secure, stable, and standardized platform operating models on Azure and have in-depth knowledge in the areas of Cloud Operations, Azure Security, Identity & Access Management, networking, monitoring, and technical operation. Infrastructure as Code, automation in the Azure environment, as well as the use of Azure DevOps, Git, and modern CI/CD pipelines are part of your daily routine. You are able to identify and evaluate technical risks and derive pragmatic measures to improve security, stability, and exploitability. You work independently, in a structured and reliable manner, and are capable of documenting technical correlations in a comprehensible way and explaining them clearly to different stakeholder groups. You think analytically and systemically, act with a sense of responsibility and solution orientation, and possess a strong sensitivity to data protection and information security issues. You communicate easily in German (C1) and have good knowledge of English in a technical context.
