SME Director - Water Management Domain

On behalf of our client, a recognized Swiss SME active in technical solutions related to water management, we are looking for an enterprising and field-oriented personality to join the company as part of a succession plan.

Active for more than 35 years, this company supports the agricultural, industrial, and public sectors in projects related to irrigation, pumping, filtration, and technical infrastructures. Thanks to its integrated expertise and innovative approach, it develops sustainable solutions responding to current challenges in preserving water resources.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a solid professional network
• Lead strategic technical projects from their introduction phase
• Ensure the operational, financial, and strategic management of the company
• Actively participate in the commercial development and the sustainability of the company
• Define the company strategy, budgets, and medium-term plans
• Supervise and propose tailor-made technical solutions in collaboration with internal teams
• Carry out regular client visits in order to analyze needs and follow up on projects
• Supervise and support employees in an SME environment
• Maintain trust relations with clients, suppliers, and partners
• Actively participate in innovation and the technical development of activities

Profile

• Higher engineering education with a specialization in water management (agronomist, civil engineer, sanitary engineer, etc.)
• Proven experience in a technical environment
• Knowledge in the fields of irrigation, pumping, filtration, or technical infrastructures, a real asset
• Experience in team management and employee development
• Excellent understanding of the economic and strategic challenges of an SME
• Entrepreneurial, autonomous, and solution-oriented personality
• Very good interpersonal and communication skills
• Bilingual French/German
• Interest in a long-term professional project
