Your mission: a local presence at the service of the community

As a Public Safety Assistant (ASP), you contribute daily to prevention, security, and quality of life in our region. In direct contact with the population, you exercise a versatile function, where dialogue, discernment, and the sense of public service occupy an essential place.

Your main responsibilities:

• Ensure a visible and reassuring presence in the field, in contact with the population;
• Participate in prevention and road safety actions;
• Control compliance with parking regulations;
• Support police personnel during demonstrations and events;
• Inform, orient, and advise the population with professionalism and kindness;
• Contribute, through your behavior and your exemplarity, to the image and values of our Police Corps.

Your profile: the sense of public service above all

You are a reliable, committed person who is comfortable in human relations. You appreciate working outdoors and know how to show discernment in various situations.

To join our team, you fulfill the following conditions:

• Be of Swiss nationality or holder of a C permit (mandatory condition);
• Present a clean criminal record (mandatory condition);
• Hold the Public Safety Assistant certificate or be willing to follow the required training at the Académie de police de Savatan (mandatory condition);
• Possess an excellent command of French, both oral and written;
• Have good knowledge of common IT tools;
• Benefit from good physical condition and appreciate working outdoors.
