For the Hunting and Fishing Department, we are looking for a Co-Department Head Hunting and Fishing, 60-70% at the Solothurn location, immediately or by agreement. Your responsibility You will lead the department in a co-management in technical, personnel, financial and organizational terms. You will ensure that mammals and birds as well as their habitats are secured or become secure and that their use is sustainable. With your employees, you are responsible for the implementation of federal and cantonal hunting laws. For cantonal politics, you provide the necessary strategic information and derived measures and concepts. You will represent the department in a subject-specific manner vis-à-vis users and conservationists as well as municipalities within the canton and vis-à-vis the federal government. Your profile You have a university degree in the field of wildlife biology or a related field and have several years of experience in a similar professional environment, ideally with leadership experience.
