After-sales Service Technician – Woodworking Machines (Polymechanic – Automation Technician – Electromechanic) Join a company where every day is different! Our activity also includes the renovation of second-hand machines as well as the assembly of extraction systems. In order to strengthen our technical team, we are looking for a curious, autonomous person who is passionate about technology, enjoys varied work, troubleshooting, and contact with customers. After-sales Service Technician – Woodworking Machines (Desired training: polymechanic, automation technician, electromechanic, or training deemed equivalent) Penthalaz (VD) | 90 % or to be agreed | CDI Your mission After a training period, you will intervene both in our workshop and at our customers' sites in French-speaking Switzerland. Your main missions will be: Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and, depending on the equipment, hydraulic faults on a wide range of conventional and CNC woodworking machines. Performing preventive and curative maintenance operations. Installing, commissioning, and explaining the operation of new machines to our customers. Performing the necessary adjustments, calibrations, and settings for the proper functioning of numerical controls (CNC). Preparing machines in our workshop before their delivery. Renovating and restoring second-hand machines to working order. Participating in the assembly of machines as well as the installation of extraction systems at our customers' sites (occasional work at height). Advising and assisting our customers to guarantee them professional and quality service. Your profile You like to analyze a fault, understand the operation of a machine, and find the solution to put it back into service quickly. You possess: an CFC as a polymechanic, automation technician, electromechanic, or training deemed equivalent; solid knowledge in mechanics; good knowledge in industrial electricity and are comfortable with reading and interpreting electrical diagrams; good knowledge in pneumatics; knowledge of hydraulics is an asset; an analytical mind, logic, and a methodical approach to fault diagnosis; a good sense of service and enjoy contact with customers; driving license category B. Experience in troubleshooting or maintenance of industrial machines is a real asset. The position is mainly oriented towards diagnosis, troubleshooting, adjustments, and putting machines back into service. It does not include PLC programming. You are also comfortable with occasional work at height as part of the assembly of extraction systems. What we offer you An exciting activity where every day is different.
