Project Leader Renewable Energy (m/f/d)

Are you passionate about renewable energies and want to actively shape the further development of innovative product solutions throughout the entire product lifecycle? In this role, you will take on the technical leadership for Product Lifecycle Management and New Product Development and drive quality, certifications, and continuous product improvements.

Your tasks

• Leading a cross-functional project team (local and virtual) in a matrix organization with regular exchange with product management, R&D, and operations. Planning and coordination of product certifications (e.g., TÜV, UL)
• Project management of new developments and Product Lifecycle projects in the high-volume area of electromechanical components in modern PLM systems throughout the entire development process and lifecycle.
• Controlling the product change management in approval processes, maintenance of technical documentation, drawings, bills of materials, and change notices.
• Conducting and moderating FMEAs, risk analyses, as well as technical reviews in close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensuring successful project execution and project monitoring with regard to project goals while complying with the applied Stäubli project lifecycle model in close cooperation with the PMO.
• Reporting on project progress and project KPIs to division and group management, as well as to customers if necessary.
• Completed studies as an engineer FH/ETH (mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or comparable field).
• Several years of experience in product development, ideally in the field of electrical connectors or electrotechnical components in high volume.
• Several years of relevant experience in project management in an industrial environment (PMP, Prince2 or IPMA level C/D certificate is an advantage)
• Experience with project management tools, as well as proficient use of MS Office, SAP, and PLM/ERP systems.
• Experience with development and approval processes (e.g., APQP, Stage-Gate, or comparable methods) and technical change management.
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to coach, lead, and align cross-functional project teams (local and virtual) in a matrix organization toward common project goals.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills in English and German (at least C1 level); experience in reporting to senior management and customers.
• Practical experience with 3D CAD systems, preferably Autodesk Inventor, as well as experience with manufacturing processes and manufacturing technologies are an advantage.
