We are looking for our Production department for a Utilities / Steam Service Manager Your mission: As Utilities / Steam Service Manager, you define and steer the strategy for the operation, securing, and modernization of the production and distribution installations of utilities for the Monthey industrial park. You are the guarantor of their safe, reliable, and efficient operation as well as the continuity of supply You also assume overall responsibility for the Reserve Power Plant program and ensure compliance with commitments made. Your activities: * Guarantee the safety, availability, and performance of the utility production and distribution installations * Guarantee the continuity of the supply of steam and other utilities and the quality of services provided to the site partners * Steer network management by coordinating internal production, external suppliers, and user needs * Define operational priorities and ensure effective planning of operation and maintenance activities * Monitor the technical, energetic, environmental, and economic performance of the service using relevant indicators * Control the production and distribution costs of utilities and contribute to the preparation and monitoring of budgets * Anticipate risks related to security of supply, installation obsolescence, and dependence on external suppliers * Contribute to the definition and implementation of the site's steam and utilities strategy, particularly within the framework of the energy transition * Identify investment needs and collaborate with Asset Management, Maintenance, and project teams to ensure the sustainability of the installations * Ensure the responsibility and overall steering of the Reserve Power Plant program * Guarantee compliance with commitments made to OFEN, Swissgrid, and other concerned partners * Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, environmental, and internal requirements applicable to the service's activities * Develop effective collaboration with industrial partners, energy suppliers, and various company services * Supervise teams, promote their empowerment, and ensure the development of skills necessary for future challenges * Promote a culture of continuous improvement, cooperation, and pursuit of performance. You possess: * Higher engineering education, ideally in the fields of energy engineering, thermal engineering, processes, or a discipline deemed equivalent * Proven experience in the management of energy installations, steam production, or industrial utilities. * Successful experience in leading technical and operational teams * Good knowledge of energy networks, thermal installations, and challenges related to security of supply * A solid ability to analyze the technical and economic performance of complex installations and to make decisions * An aptitude to reconcile immediate operational challenges with a medium and long-term vision * Mobilizing leadership, good communication skills, and a real ability to unite around common objectives * Great ease in cross-functional collaboration and in the management of internal and external interfaces * Excellent command of French, knowledge of German and/or English being an advantage.
