At a glance

In our 14-member Finance & Controlling (FICO) team, we are looking for an experienced Business Unit Controller. The FICO team takes care of the finance and controlling topics of the Swiss SKAN companies. Additionally, the team coordinates the group-wide FICO tasks.

Tasks

• FICO support for a dedicated Business Unit
• Sparring partner to the Business Unit Manager
• Preparation, analysis, and interpretation of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements of the assigned Business Unit (international)
• Support in the preparation of internal financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, and annual closing)
• Processing of ad-hoc analyses and reports including presentation of results
• Preparation of target-actual comparisons as well as profitability analyses
• Participation in the planning and implementation of the budget process
• Participation in optimization processes (department-specific and cross-functional)
• Support of the specialist departments in all business administration questions

Hardskills

• Completed degree in business administration with a focus on Finance & Controlling
• Further training in the field of controlling (e.g., Expert in Accounting and Controlling) desirable
• SAP knowledge (FICO modules mandatory), additional SAP module knowledge such as PP, SD, MM is an advantage
• Very good knowledge in using the MS Office package, especially Excel
• Strong conceptual and analytical skills
• High affinity for IT and applications
• Several years of professional experience in the field of controlling in a manufacturing company is an advantage
• Good knowledge of accounting standards (Swiss GAAP FER)
• Confident & secure appearance as well as very good expression and language skills
• Business fluent German and English skills in speaking and writing
