Administrator for Patient Admissions/Emergency Admissions

Your tasks • administrative admission of patients in our emergency department • administrative processing of elective, inpatient registrations in patient admissions • verification of insurance coverage, obtaining and ensuring cost approvals as well as monitoring cost security (including requesting deposit payments) • ensuring complete and accurate recording of all patient and case data • advising patients on upgrade options • administrative processing of deaths • supporting stations and outpatient clinics with administrative questions Your profile • completed commercial training or training in the healthcare sector • professional experience in a hospital environment, ideally with knowledge in the social insurance sector • enjoyment of contact with patients and their relatives in a dynamic environment • team-oriented, quick comprehension and interest in administrative tasks • resilient and sovereign even in hectic (emergency) situations • willingness to flexibly take on early and late shifts (Monday-Friday between 07.00 and 22.00) as well as weekend and holiday shifts (09.00 - 18.00) • very good German language skills in word and writing, additional languages an advantage • good MS-Office skills, KISIM and SAP skills an advantage Benefits • 28-33 paid vacation days per year, depending on age • extensive opportunities for further education and training, e.g. own seminar program with a wide range of educational offers • occupational health management with preventive measures such as ergonomic consulting at the workplace • part-time work as well as possibility of job sharing also in leadership positions • bright, friendly rooms with modern infrastructure • pronounced values and actively lived corporate culture • shaping and co-design of the Claraspital by the employees About Claraspital The Claraspital, the largest private hospital in Basel, is a university teaching and research hospital with a comprehensive performance mandate for highly specialized abdominal surgery and supra-regional impact of its centers "Abdomen" and "Tumor" as well as its specialist areas.
