This department provides care to patients of all ages, children and adults, suffering from neurosurgical, neurological, ophthalmological and otorhinolaryngological pathologies. Care is adapted to the needs and difficulties of the patient, from the most acute sectors (intermediate care units) to the rehabilitation sectors (neurorehabilitation). The objective of the department is to lead the patient base towards recovery of their autonomy through teaching, support and outpatient monitoring. It ensures the operation of patients as well as their support, in order to favor an early return home. In the same vein, outpatient care is also prioritized and surgical activity optimized, to facilitate accessibility to care within a reasonable timeframe. The [service de neurochirurgie](< >) provides personalized global care to patients suffering from a neurosurgical condition (vascular neurosurgery, epilepsy surgery, pituitary disorders, brain tumors, skull base tumors, spinal tumors, hydrocephalus and cerebrospinal fluid disorders). Technician in MRI-guided focused ultrasound - 40% As part of focused ultrasound interventions to treat tremors in patients suffering from essential tremor or Parkinson's disease, you are in charge of the technical part for the interventions, under the supervision of the neurosurgeons. Your role consists of preparing the interventions: calculation of the SDR, tractography of bundles, control of equipment. You provide support during interventions: calibration of the system, acquisition and analysis of data (tremor, voice). You identify and resolve technical problems and ensure follow-up of interventions for the purpose of constant improvement (side effects, treatment parameters, incident reports to the manufacturer etc.). Qualifications You benefit from a HES Bachelor in Medical Radiology Technique or an equivalent recognized title by the Swiss Red Cross. You benefit from successful experience of a minimum of 1 year in MRI and/or in the field of high-intensity focused ultrasound. You have good knowledge of MRI and focused ultrasound. An interest in computer development is a plus (notably in Python). You establish a respectful relationship, listening to patients and relatives, knowing how to adapt your communication to different situations.
