The Amt für Jugend und Berufsberatung (AJB) is responsible for child and youth welfare as well as career counseling. At the center of our work are children, adolescents, and families. We advocate for them daily with a lot of passion and commitment. The kjz (Kinder- und Jugendhilfezentrum) is a polyvalent counseling center for families, parents, adolescents, children, and toddlers and operates on the basis of the Child and Youth Welfare Act of the Canton of Zürich. For the Social Work and Mandates Department at kjz Uster, we are looking for a Head (70 - 80 %) starting June 1, 2026, or by arrangement. You will lead a committed team of 6 - 8 social workers and shape a sustainable team culture. In your role as a professional sparring partner, you will accompany your team in demanding case constellations and ensure the quality of case work. At the same time, you are responsible for the professional and personnel leadership of your department and actively shape its further development. Within the strategic guidelines of the AJB, you will independently set priorities and contribute your professional perspective to higher-level decisions.
