What you can achieve

• Responsibility for the planning, execution, and documentation of tests
• Checking requirements as well as creation, maintenance, and further development of test cases, test protocols, and test evidence
• Creation and maintenance of test scripting
• Execution of API and database testing as well as ensuring quality along modern development processes
• Participation in the integration of tests into CI/CD and DevOps processes as well as support in deployment and release processes
• Ensuring the link between requirements, test cases, results, and defects
• Providing suitable test environments, maintaining the configuration management of the test equipment, and compliance with quality management specifications
• Active collaboration in the optimization of test processes, test methodology, and technical quality standards

What you bring with you

• Higher vocational education in the field of computer science or career changers with several years of experience in software testing
• Sound experience as a Test Engineer, especially in test automation, test scripting, and structured testing
• Very good knowledge of test methodology and strategy, modern testing approaches, and agile software development
• Good understanding of modern DevOps processes
• Knowledge of Jira, Xray, and GitLab is an advantage
• Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and enjoyment of working in interdisciplinary teams
• Business fluent German; English and/or French skills (Level B2) are an advantage
• Experience in regulated industries is an advantage
• Military career as a higher non-commissioned officer or officer is an advantage
