Workload 100% Contract permanent Start date immediately or by arrangement Tasks You design, implement and operate modern Windows-based platforms and actively develop them further (the focus of the position is on engineering, with active participation in operations) You ensure stable and secure operation throughout the entire lifecycle together with the team (Run/Operate & Improve): Monitoring/Alerting, Incident/Problem Management, Patch/Release Management, Capacity/Performance as well as availability You drive standardization, automation and hardening (security) of the system environments (e.g. via IaC/scripting) You assume engineering responsibility for lifecycle topics: Design, Build, Patch/Release Management, Capacity, Performance as well as availability You analyze malfunctions sustainably, perform root cause analyses and establish permanent improvements (Problem Management) You work in company-wide projects as a technical lead or specialist and contribute your know-how You advise application managers and internal teams on infrastructure, architecture, security and operating models You maintain system, architecture and operating documentation, standards and runbooks and ensure their availability After the induction period, you will take over on-call services in defined turns and ensure operational safety also outside of office hours Planned maintenance windows and changes take place regularly outside of office hours as well as on weekends (depending on demand) Requirements Completed IT training (EFZ/HF/FH) or comparable, several years of practical experience as a Windows System Engineer Very good knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem, e.g. Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server & Clients, MS SQL (operation-related), Active Directory/Entra ID, Exchange (Online/Hybrid), Teams/VoIP Experience with virtualization technologies, ideally VMware (vSphere/ESXi/vCenter) Good knowledge of network technologies and security basics (LAN/WLAN, Cisco, 802.1x, hardening, identity & access concepts) Experience with backup/restore and storage (e.g. Veeam) as well as monitoring/logging Strong skills in automation & scripting (PowerShell; ideally Git-supported way of working, CI/CD-related methods are an advantage) It is an advantage if you are familiar with Ansible and source code management with Git Structured, independent way of working, high service orientation and good communication; user knowledge in the Atlassian Cloud Suite Very good German; French and/or Italian knowledge is an advantage What we offer We offer you a modern, dynamic working environment in which you can contribute your skills and your personality every day and thus make a difference.
