Metal Construction Fitter (m/f/d, 100%)

Since 1926, we have been an innovative and successful SME with around 55 employees today. We process flat glass and mirrors for the construction industry and combine glass and metal. Furthermore, we plan, produce and install glass in the interior (glass showers, doors, kitchen back walls, mirrors, etc.) and exterior areas (balcony and patio glazing, glass railings and winter gardens) for private builders, architects and planners. To strengthen our team in the metal construction assembly area, we are looking for a self-employed, motivated and initiative person for long-term cooperation, available immediately or by agreement. Metal Construction Fitter (m/f/d, 100%) Tasks • You assemble windscreen, balcony and patio glazing, winter gardens and louvre roofs • You can assess and comply with the assembly plans. • You prepare the assembly (materials, assembly tools, personal protective equipment, etc.) in good time and check the required materials for correctness. • You report the work carried out using an assembly sheet and keep necessary information about the assembly carried out in writing. • You maintain the assembly vehicle as well as its machines and tools independently or together with the respective team colleague. • Assistance with assemblies of other teams. • You attend safety-related courses such as PSAgA, trailer test, aerial work platforms, etc. Requirements • Completed vocational training as a metal builder EFZ, carpenter EFZ or carpenter EFZ • Several years of experience in the learned profession, preferably also in the field of glass/metal construction • Good knowledge and several years of experience in the field of assembly • High quality awareness and expedient working method • Good independence and flexibility in work • You possess a driver's license category B In a family-friendly and motivated environment, we offer you a wide range of tasks with responsibility in your own field.
