On behalf of a rapidly growing trading company in Genève, we are looking for a Senior Accountant to strengthen the Finance function.

Senior Accountant - Trading - Genève

The position is primarily aimed at a very operational and autonomous profile, capable of taking charge of daily accounting and contributing to the progressive structuring of the Finance function. We are looking for a hands-on professional, comfortable in a trading environment.

Your missions :

• Ensure general accounting and monthly/annual closings according to Swiss standards.
• Manage bank reconciliations, payments, collections, suppliers, and clients.
• Prepare financial reporting and ensure the reliability of accounting data.
• Monitor treasury, cash-flow, and working capital requirements related to trading operations.
• Participate in monitoring transaction profitability and financial analysis.
• Collaborate with fiduciaries, auditors, and external partners.
• Contribute to the implementation of tools, procedures, and reporting adapted to the company's growth.

The profile sought :

• 5 to 10 years of experience in accounting in Switzerland.
• Experience in commodity trading, international trade, trade finance, or a banking environment strongly appreciated.
• Available quickly or ideally with a short notice period.
• Solid mastery of Swiss accounting and closing processes.
• Very good mastery of Excel and ease with an ERP/accounting software.
• Professional English indispensable; fluent French.
• Autonomy, rigor, and true operational orientation.
