The Novotel Basel City is a 4-star hotel with 145 rooms. The hotel has 7 meeting rooms, the "Gourmet Bar" restaurant with 80 seats, a bar, and a fitness room. It is located in a total hotel complex of 525 rooms, which combines 3 Accor hotel brands (Novotel, Ibis Budget & ibis Styles). The Business & Lifestyle Hotel is situated in the lively city of Basel, 3 minutes from the train station and 15 minutes from EuroAirport Basel. The exhibition center, zoo, art museum, and Rhine River are within walking distance. To strengthen our team at Novotel Basel City, we are looking for Reception Staff on an hourly wage 40 - 80% (m/w/d) Your tasks You are jointly responsible for the smooth operation of the reception and guarantee our international guests a wonderful stay. Your tasks, in addition to check-in and check-out, include written correspondence in German, English, and preferably French. Managing the hotel cash register and collaborating with all departments of the house is a matter of course for you. Furthermore, you are jointly responsible for receiving and advising on all telephone and personal inquiries and reservations at the hotel, as well as many other administrative tasks.
