ICT Systems Engineer (DevSecOps / automation platform)

Your contribution

• Develop, manage, and continuously improve, together with the team, the central DevSecOps and platform services
• Design the ansible automation platform (AAP) as a central automation service and further expand its use
• Standardize and automate platforms and their lifecycle through automation, applying infrastructure as code (IaC) and continuous integration / continuous development (CI/CD) processes
• Integrate services on Linux/RHEL and OpenShift/Kubernetes and ensure their stable and secure operation
• Contribute to defining and further developing topics related to secure software supply chain, CI/CD, and artifact and container repositories
• Further develop observability for platform services and provide support to application teams in using the offered services

What distinguishes you

• Training as a computer scientist (SSS/SUP), SSS technician, or engineer (SSS/SUP) with specialization in the field of computer science
• Good knowledge of Ansible, preferably the ansible automation platform (AAP), as well as experience with Linux/RHEL
• Experience with OpenShift/Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Git-based working methodologies
• Understanding of DevSecOps practices and secure software supply chain, e.g., regarding security scanning, artifact and container repositories, or SBOM
• Experience in the field of observability or interest in the subject (e.g., Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic, or Splunk)
• Strong team spirit, personal initiative, and resilience as well as willingness to assume responsibility and share knowledge

In summary

Become part of the Cyber Command and actively contribute to the digitalization and in particular to the digital connectivity of the Swiss Army. You will perform this unique task, the use of civilian mobile telephony and fiber optic networks for the benefit of the army, in a dynamic working environment.
