Employee Medical Secretary / Medical Reporting

We are looking for a reliable personality for the administrative support of our Plastic Surgery and our Breast Center. The focus of this versatile function lies in medical reporting. Additionally, you will support our team in daily practice operations and undertake holiday cover.

Focus on medical reporting:

• Correction, preparation, and dispatch of medical reports and medical correspondence, as well as independent processing and forwarding to referrers, insurance companies, and other recipients
• Ensuring linguistically, formally, and medically correct documentation
• Dispatch of prescriptions, insurance inquiries, and other medical documents
• Digitization, assignment, and filing of documents

Practice administration and holiday cover:

• Personal and telephone contact with patients, e.g., receiving and processing telephone calls and emails
• Appointment scheduling and coordination of consultations, as well as disposition and maintenance of medical agendas
• Administrative support in surgical planning and coordination
• Patient admission and support at the practice reception
• Recording of services as well as general administrative work
• Assistance in the daily practice operations of Plastic Surgery and the Breast Center
• Holiday cover within Plastic Surgery and the Breast Center

This is how you convince us:

• Completed commercial training (KV), training as a medical secretary, or comparable qualification
• Sound knowledge of medical terminology and confidence in handling medical reports
• Stylish German in speaking and writing, as well as good English skills are an advantage
• Very good IT and PC user skills
• Exact, structured, and independent way of working, as well as high service orientation and enjoyment of patient contact
• Friendly, respectful, and professional appearance
• Resilient, trustworthy, and team-oriented personality with the ability to maintain an overview even in hectic situations
• Willingness to temporarily increase the workload to up to approx. 80% during holiday cover
