We are seeking a Assistant/Curator Specializing in Adult Protection 80% to 100% The Regional Social Service Oberwynental with its approximately 35 employees is responsible for the municipalities Menziken, Reinach, Leimbach, and Birrwil. The service is divided into the two departments of Child and Adult Protection and Social Assistance. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a professionally competent person as an Assistant/Curator for the Department of Child and Adult Protection, specializing in Adult Protection, starting in August 2026 or by agreement. The area of responsibility includes: • You will independently manage adult protection mandates • You will advise, accompany, and represent people in social, health, legal, and financial matters • You will create customized target agreements with clients and document their progress • You will conduct investigations in the area of adults on behalf of the KESB • You will conduct voluntary consultations in the area of adults • You will conduct voluntary income and asset management • You will work in a goal-oriented and cooperative manner with authorities, municipalities, institutions, and relatives You should bring: • A tertiary degree (university or university of applied sciences) in Social Work or equivalent training • Professional experience in the social sector (required) • Experience in managing mandates or the willingness to undergo specific further training • Knowledge of social insurance law • Sense of structure and administration as well as IT skills • Empathy for people in difficult life situations • Mental resilience and team skills • High social and self-competence • Driver's license category B (private car for business trips is an advantage) What you can expect: • An interesting, responsible, varied, and independent activity with a large scope of action in a committed and well-established team • Case support in the areas of administration and accounting (tandem structures) • Case numbers according to the KOKES guidelines • Case management software KLIBnet • Intervision, supervision, and further training opportunities • Attractive workplace with good infrastructure • Progressive employment conditions • Free parking A qualified team is looking forward to a committed, honest, and balanced person who also keeps an overview and a sense of humor in hectic situations.
